ABSTRACT

International logistics can play an important role in the firm's marketing strategy. New postponement based strategies in which inventories are centralized and distributed around the world with fast and reliable transportation can improve service and lower costs. However, such strategies require government policies and institutional innovations which facilitate fast and reliable transportation at low cost.
